Who is the leader of the Republican Party?
It is not Michael Steele, because a leader needs followers, and the only people who follow him are late-night comedians.
It is not Rush Limbaugh, because the only people who follow him are extreme right-wing ideologues.
It is not Sarah Palin, because the only people who follow her are enthusiastic know-nothings.
The real leader of the Republicans has been preaching for more than 20 years: "Just say no." And now, all the elected Republican congressional representatives decided to follow the mantra of their leader - Nancy Reagan.
